What the buyer should verify

The example is a board-level product: confirm enclosure, power supply, installation conditions and total power allocation. Per-port headline power does not mean every port can deliver that maximum simultaneously.

Ownership and support questions

• Which exact hardware and software combination is supported?
• Who will own configuration access and retained backups?
• Which spares, optical modules or sensing components are specific to the selected product?
• Where can replacements be obtained, and what lead time is quoted?
• How will the complete security function be tested after installation?
